In April 2008, pain began quite suddenly from the hip down to the outside of my right calf down to the ankle. I could not move, I could not sleep or perform normal daily activities. After obtaining an MRI of my low back, I was told that I have a L4 herniated disc. I tried cortisone, epidurals, anti-inflammatory, and pain medication, with little or no relief. I was involved in an automobile accident which resulted in severe and chronic pain in my neck and left arm/shoulder. I was in so much pain that I could not sit or stand for long periods of time. In addition, I could not sleep due to the numbness in my arm and hand. I saw both a neurologist and surgeon which only gave me medications and injections to try and help. It did not help at all, I was still in pain. Then I started treatment with Dr. Pachter in August 2008 and I noticed a change in just a few visits. I stuck with the program and was very pleased with my results. I can now do most of my daily routine and sleep through the night, pain free. Approximately 1 month after I was hit from behind by another car (while trying to turn right on an intersection), I started to feel strong pain on my neck that made it very difficult to sleep at night, or even work during the day. I never had this type of pain in the past, and started to have them approximately 5 months ago. I couldn't sleep at night, as it was very difficult to position my head on the pillow, and in the middle of the night I woke up with a lot of pain. I also had discomfort while doing sports and limited my capabilities of enjoying outdoor activities such as soccer, swimming, biking, weight training, etc.
As per recommendation of Dr. Pachter, I had an MRI, and based on its results, I was recommended to see an orthopedic specialist. This doctor confirmed that I had a herniated disc on cervical 3, and indicated that 90% of the cases, this pain will continue for at least 6 months to a year, and that I would get used to it. He recommended anti-inflammatory drugs (800 mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day) and also gave me a cortisone shot. The effects of the cortisone shot were very good but lasted only 1 week, when I started having the same level of pain as before. When I went to the second visit, the doctor recommended that the next possible steps if the pain didn't go down) was to have an epidural, and if this didn't solve the problem, I may need to consider surgery. A friend of mine recommended me to Dr. Pachter for regular spine adjustments. Dr. Pachter originally treated me twice for sciatic pain, product of playing soccer, and in both cases, the sciatic pain went away after 3 or 4 spine adjustments. When I started with my neck pain, Dr. Pachter started treating me until after approximately 3 sessions he recommended and MRI and then directed me to the orthopedic specialist for another opinion based on the results of the MRI.
The initial neck treatment through conventional chiropractor adjustments started approximately mid May 2009, but the treatment int he DRX9000C started approximately at the beginning of September 2009. All of my treatments with the DRX9000C were done with Dr. Pachter who was very educational and professional in explaining me the problem that I had, as well as the alternatives for treatment. Dr. Pachter recommended the treatment with the DRX9000C as a solution to my neck problem and has been managing the progress very closely based on the feedback that he requested me before and after each session. He has also been providing chiropractic spine and neck adjustments in parallel to the DRX9000C treatment, combined with electro muscle stimulator, ultrasound treatments and neck massage sessions.
I'm very satisfied about the results of the treatment with the DRX9000C. I started with 8 lbs of pull, and gradually moved 1 pound every one to two sessions. For the first series of sessions, I was noticing slight or little improvement, but after approximately the 12th session, I started noticing dramatic progress. After the 20th session I can say that I practically don't have any more pain at night, and can sleep all night without interruptions due to my neck. My neck muscles are still a little tense and feel little pain which I hope will reduce in the near future through additional conventional adjustment treatments.
I'm really very satisfied about the treatments that I received from Dr. Pachter. The staff is excellent, both from a therapy treatment point of view, as well from an administrative aspect, always accommodating my appointments based on my schedule.

I had pain that began with sharp pains racing down my lower left side and leg causing inability to walk fluidly with continuity of motion. The pain caused inability to have health and wellness or exercise as it interfered with my ability to move well. I found out about Dr. Pachter through friends and reading literature concerning chiropractic care. Dr. Pachter listened well to my individual needs and goals concerning my health and physical fitness goals. The most important element that was affected by the DRX9000 Machine treatment was increased mobility. My spine and lower back does not feel as cramped and tight as it once was which greatly increased my range and fluidity of motion. Additional effects were greater on overall health, less constipation, healthier skin and hair and definitely more energy as disks and vertebrae were relieved from pressure on nerves and spinal cord.
